Step 2: Volunteer Interview

All individuals who are interested in a volunteer position are required to participate in an interview. The interviewer will take into consideration the individual’s skills, interests and time availability. At S.L. Hunter SpeechWorks, we believe  that volunteer opportunities should be mutually beneficial for all involved.

Step 3: Volunteer Orientation  

After successfully completing the interview process and any additional screening measures, our volunteers are required to attend the Volunteer Orientation. During the Orientation the volunteer position will be discussed in more detail and our Policies will be reviewed.

Step 4: Placement

Once the volunteer orientation has been completed, placement will occur and any additional training will be provided.
