From an early age, I have been drawn to Speech-Language Pathology, as both my parents worked in jobs related to the field of communication disorders. Pursuing my childhood dreams, I completed my Master of Science in Speech & Hearing at the All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, India. I had the opportunity to practice Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in different settings during my first year of clinical experience in India. Later, I worked as an Early Intervention Speech- Language Pathologist in Salt Lake City, USA during my clinical fellowship year.

Since moving to Ontario in 2005, I have provided my clinical services to many children and their families, with different needs and varied speech-language disorders. My years of experience in school-based services has allowed me to gain the skills to help children with significant speech challenges like Childhood Apraxia of Speech or Stuttering. Apart from my direct clinical services with the students, educating and supporting families to help transfer the skills learned is something I am always very passionate about. I have had formal training in multiple intervention programs, including PROMPT technique, Orofacial Myology, and Fluency Plus Program, which allows me to offer both client-centered and evidence-based clinical services more effectively. My passion for my job and working with children has only increased since I have started, and I continue to learn something new from everyone I work with.
